The whole school celebrated St Blasius Day by learning about St Blaise

 

Reception class learnt about St Blaise and produced a colourful display. 

Year 1 recreated the sheiks design by making stained glass candles and painted tigers.

Year 2 learnt about Saint Blaise and what he was known for. They wrote this information with an illustration and also created fish bone pictures with Art straws and black paper. In addition they traced and coloured the St Blasius shield in a stained glass window style.

Year 4 explored the life of Saint Blaise and they created a range of artwork and writing pertaining to his life's events. 

Year 5 researched St Blaise and wrote prayers to him and about him.

Year 6 researched St Blaise and created drawings depicting him on crosses.
